Cañaris Legends

With the support of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) from the United States, the research on three legends from the Cañar canton was conducted in English: The Origin of the Cañaris, Cerro Narrio, and Laguna de Culebrillas.

The narratives were compiled by Cañaris historians and researchers.

PRIMOK'S PARTICIPATION IN THE CAÑAR FESTIVITIES

The PRIMOK Program, with the support of teachers and students, participated in the civic-military parade celebrating the 201st anniversary of the cantonization of Cañar.

The PRIMOR program participated in the Young Leaders of the Americas Program as one of the 280 scholarship recipients in the United States.

FIRST PROMOTION OF PRIMOK GRADUATES

The PRIMOK program had its first graduating class of students, totaling 10 individuals capable of communicating with English speakers. Additionally, some of them are part of our program as assistants to foreign teachers, where they can enhance their speaking skills.
